(More customer reviews)As a standard practice, I replace the stock air filter in every car I own with a K&N filer. Depending on you vehicle, you will see some degree of mileage increase because because they improve the amount of airflow to your engine. Sure they cost more than paper filters, but they are a 'lifetime' filter that needs cleaned [not replaced] every 50,000 miles [unless conditions dictate otherwise]. Also, the dirtier paper filters become the more airflow is restricted. Not the case with cloth and oil filters [see manufacturer test results]. There is a reason why the K&N filters are considered a 'performance' part. Besides, you'll feel good about all of the trees saved over the lifetime of your vehicle by not purchasing paper filters ;-)
