(More customer reviews)I have two of these wired in parallel to two ohms being run by a Pioneer GM-D7500M Class-D Mono Amplifier with 800 Watts Max. Power. They are in a small enclosed box with about .95 Cu Ft. They sound awesome... nice tight bass with rock and a good "BOOM" with Rap or Pop. I couldn't believe how well these sound and look. They are actually black and not silver like the pictures shows. I think the picture is a previous model. These subs replaced some Orion 10's (can't remember model #) but I will tell you I noticed a huge difference in sound quality and these seem to go to a lower frequency then the Orions or the MTX thunders in my pick-up. (I didn't look at numbers though, just went by sound) These are deeper than some other brands. Top mount took 5 1/2"s I had to put trim rings on my box to get them in as the Orion's where like 4 7/8". Anyway this is Polk's entry level series and I'm blown away by them, I can't imagine what their higher series sound like. For this price and Polk's reputation in sound you can't go wrong with these.
