(More customer reviews)Have a 2009 Dodge 1500 Ram w/ HEMI. It is an early production date for the new model that came with NGK copper core plugs...? At about 10K it started to run a bit "off". I previously had a 2004 Durango Hemi that came with factory Iridium plugs...why the downgrade? Dodge could not give me a straight answer, but I did find out that the second half of the new production year to present the iridium plugs are standard. Smells like a rotten tuna to me! Maybe someone an Auburn Hills F'ed up the specs. Either way I was not gonna pay Dodge over $500 to change these [2 plugs per cyl. plus labor]. It was a challenge, Hemi's are not the easiest to do plugs on [took 4hrs.]. They work perfectly and I noticed rightway how much performance I lost with worn copper plugs. Iridium is worth the investment as long as they have a better life cycle. In my other vehicles I have had great luck with Bosch standard Platnium plus plugs [about $3 each]. I know there are a lot of choices out there for the Dodge Hemi but since it is a new[er] nearly $40k truck I went with the safe bet, the factory/std. Iridiums this time.
