(More customer reviews)I paired these up with a JVC XR810 head unit using NO amp. You don't need an amp using these speakers and a good quality head unit. Mine is rated at 20 watts RMS and 50 watts max. They sound very clear, much better than coaxial speakers! They are very loud using just the deck. Excellent highs with nice mids. Im very impressed with the quality in construction and sound. Trust me when I say get these!

The R162-S is a dedicated 2-way component system utilizing a Mica injected polypropylene cone for extended frequency response and accommodates direct OEM installation.
