This sun shade helps me find my car easily, but most of all it helps keep the heat down inside my car on long hot summer days in NC. My car lives in a garage during the day, I work at night, so it does not get used everyday. I am not sure it would hold up for daily use. The fabric is somewhat thin, I drive a small SUV(Escape), and it fits my window OK, but if I had a medium to large SUV it would be to small. But overall it meets my needs
