(More customer reviews)I ordered these to replace the standard speakers in my 2007 Lexus ES350. I installed the Polk 6.5 inch speakers in the front doors in place of the factory speakers, and the improvement in sound quality is incredible. (Note to similar vehicle owners: Disconnect the factory center dash speaker to avoid volume/voice mismatch between the new and center speaker.) Installation was difficult, as it was necessary to cut up the factory speaker brackets to make these fit (3rd party universal fit brackets can be purchased to make this easier). I did not bother with the Polk tweeters or crossover units - I left the factory equipment in place, as the crossover units are bulky - about 2.5" x 4.5" x 1.5". The MM6501 speakers have plenty of bass and low midrange sound for pop, easy listening, and classical music. The speakers have excellent clarity - they don't sound muddy or distorted like the car's factory speakers. I can set the bass, mid, & treble of my stereo to "flat" and get pleasing sound, and the speakers are not at all tiring to listen to. The price on Amazon is half that some other vendors charge. The speaker have spade connectors. The package includes foam gaskets and and wire terminated with spade connectors, but no screws. I highly recommend these speakers.
