(More customer reviews)This amp when bench tested at a 2 ohm configuration puts out about 600 real watts. If you know anything about car stereos, this REAL wattage is the only thing that matters, not what the amp manufacturers claim wattage to be. This amp doesnt get hot, and is a serious performer for the money. Class D means it is extremely efficient, and its a mono subwoofer amplifier. For those of you with small 4 cylinder engines and small alternators, yes your headlights will dim no matter what amp you put in there. Get a capacitor if you have a 4 cylinder motor. I have an S10 with a 4.3L V6, stock alternator rated at 110 Amps, and my headlights do not dim. I dont have a capacitor. This amp slams whatever is connected to it. For the money, you can not beat this amp.
