(More customer reviews)Bought this for a Windstar that had a ruptured boot. The old one came right off and this particular model is designed to fit on various sized CV joints. You simply cut the part thats larger off. Installation was easy enough, until you get to the clamps. They use a professional clamp that requires a clamp tool to utilize. I would recommend throwing them in the trash and either using the black UV resistant zip ties (larger ones) or traditional metal hose clamps. The clamps that come with it are absolutely useless if you don't have a special tool.
That being said, the boot is very good. The rubber is not terribly stiff and did not appear to be cracked/dried out. I expect to get several years out of this repair.
