If you look at the photo, you'll notice that it comes with TWO dash kits. The top dash kit has a storage pocket, and is for installing a single din stereo into a double din slot on the 1999-2002 Tiburon (per the instruction sheet).
Then there's the bracket on the bottom, which is single din size faceplate. That's for installing a single din unit into a single slot, or installing a single din unit into a double din slot *if you already have the storage pocket*. This is the bracket for the Santa Fe. (instruction sheet says 1996-06 Elantra, 2001-05 Santa Fe, and 1997-2002 Tiburon - all vehicles MUST HAVE FACTORY POCKET BELOW RADIO)
If you are looking to replace your factory double din unit with a single din unit in your Santa Fe, and want the storage pocket you will have to either already have the storage pocket or will need to get a different installation kit. This will not work you.
This is not made clear on Amazon, and for that matter every website I've seen that has this product does not clearly state it.
